NCS Hall of Fame 2019
Volunteered at our local National Center for Simulation (NCS)’s 2019 Hall of Fame Induction. This year they inducted: Dr. Peter Hancock, Dr. Randall Shumaker, and Michael Tschanz. In previous years, they have inducted the following modsim leaders. It was refreshing to see so many people from so many industries supporting the modeling and simulation community!
PHA Volunteer of the Year
Honored to be The Parke House Academy Volunteer of the Year 2019! Every teacher in the school prepared a special dish for the volunteers luncheon. It was really nice (and delicious). Love this school!
Volunteer Fence Building
Today I helped The Parke House Academy build a new fence for their little ones (lower division). A few of the 4×4 posts were reclaimed from my fence that I was replacing. After building, I sanded the low gateway fence to help avoid any unnecessary splinters 🙂
