Palm Beach Zoo

Posted on April 7, 2019July 19, 2021 by Joe Del Rocco

We visited the Palm Beach Zoo on the way back from our stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Boca Raton. It’s a beautiful little zoo/conservatory located in a public park near West Palm Beach. There was no wait when we showed up (mid-morning). It has 4 main walkable areas, some larger than others. They have tons of cool flora and fauna to check out. However, like any zoo, the animals about vary per visit. Some of the encounters were just plain empty, while other animals were hiding out.

I do think the price of admission should be cheaper (at least for children). I think they should do more fundraising to subsidize the price of admission. I understand running a conservatory is not cheap, and they want to keep it as nice as possible. But I feel the price for admission is too expensive for children. We wouldn’t be able to afford it if we had several kids.
